In this study, initially the amounts of honey production and economic value have been analyzed in terms of location of Bartın province within the region and the country. Subsequently, the potential forest areas of honey production in Bartın was designated and honey production quantities which can be obtained from these fields will be calculated for their economic contribution to the province and the country's economy. Then Bartın the potential honey production values within Bartın were compared with current honey production values in terms of production quantity and monetary values. According to the findings of this study; by the year 2015, 352 tons of honey was produced within Bartın province and total revenue of 18 million TL was achieved. However, Bartın Potential Honey Forest has the production potential of 974 tons areas and if these areas were included in the production of honey through beekeeping activities and if these will be introduced into Bartın's economy annual income it would be increased up to 50 million TL from 18 million TL. The results showed that Bartın's income from honey production in the province was only 1/3 of the province and country can be introduced into the economy, whereas 2/3 of which is understood as the use discarded.
