The effect of Bextra syrup on improving the symptoms of colds in children 1 to 10 years old referred to pediatric clinics in Qom in 1397-1397

Colds or viral infections of the upper airways are the third most common initial diagnosis in US outpatient settings. This disease is caused by respiratory viruses such as: 30-50% of cases of rhinovirus and coronavirus 10-15% of cases. Some drugs, such as zinc, honey and its derivatives, and nasal lavage are also effective in treatment. One of the natural remedies that is derived from honey is called propolis, which has many medicinal properties. In this study, a clinical trial was performed on children aged 10-10 years who referred to Qom children's clinics due to colds during the years 1397-1397. In addition to routine treatments for colds, a group of them is given 5 ml of Bikstra syrup daily and then after 3 and 7 days, they are evaluated for the occurrence of the studied variables. In the group using Bixtera syrup, the mean age of the subjects was 2.55 3 3.44 and in the control group was 2.7. 2.2. In the group using Bextra syrup, 30 (60%) were boys and 20 (40%) were girls, and in the control group, 27 (54%) were boys and 23 (46%) were girls. In the group using Bextra syrup on the first day of referral to the clinic, 40 (80%) of people had a fever with a mean number of days of fever of 0.4 92 0.92. On the third day of follow-up, only 1 person had a fever and on the seventh day of follow-up, none of the people had a fever.
