The complete chloroplast genome of S. sinkiangensis is 152,621 bp in length, comprising LSC (84,011 bp), SSC (18,630 bp), and IR (24,990 bp each) regions. The genome has 36.6% GC content (LSC: 34.6%, SSC: 29.4%, IR: 42.7%) and encodes 133 genes (88 protein-coding, 37 tRNA, eight rRNA). Phylogenetic analysis (ML/BI) indicate S. sinkiangensis is closest to S. collina. This study provides genomic insights and clarifies its phylogenetic position within Amaranthaceae.
