Principles for statistical inference

Abstract

To attend the first purpose of medical research, the selection of appropriate statistical method, this review described the statistical inference and the principles for the selection of statistical test: first, synthesize measurements on a limited number of manageable data, second, estimates and inferences from samples taken from populations and finally, fit the data as the influence of confounding variables.
