Abstract

The Spatial Analysis is one of the some forms of if understanding as some spatial events arerelationships. Currently, this technique to see being incorporated for diverse areas of the knowledgesuch as, the health areas, has carried and transit. This work has as objective to demonstrate theapplication of the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis - ESDA, for the identification of criticalareas of traffic accidents in cities of average transport, having as study area the São Carlos - SP -Brazil. In this study it was possible to demonstrate to the viability of use of this technique, since itwas possible to incorporate new parameters of analysis of the accidents being provided new waysfor identification of problematic areas, facilitating its analysis.
