The 2004-2008 period corresponds to a particular context. The geopolitical context is that of a disrupted world, where the international balance of power is being redrawn. The comics published in Pif Gadget offer to see different stagings of relationships with otherness and the crossing of limits in a very urbanized world marked by an important north-south relationship. The corpus chosen for this contribution is not made up of the follow-up of a single comic strip, but takes the advantage of raising different situations presenting a thought of the relationship to otherness in the diversity of imagined environments (city, extraterrestrial space, space microterrestrial). Finally, the corpus ignores contextualized comics in a chronologically defined historical framework. Indeed, it is not a question of analyzing a graphic interpretation of historical facts, but rather the fictions and their imagination created in the context of the 2000s.It will therefore be a question of seeing how these passages create otherness, and transform or not the spatialities of the characters depending on whether they are those who are in the movement of the encounter or those who are recipients of this encounter.
