Sexual education: a challenge of the elder adult in the grandparent’s homes

Abstract

Sexual education constitutes one of the priorities of the Educational Policy in Cuba directed to the formation of a responsible, pleasurable and happy sexuality in all ethereal groups of Cuban people. It is not the intention, through of this work to give a detailed exploration of what sexual education is and its role, but to provide a system of actions that favour the work in the grandparents homes due to the insufficient knowledge about this sphere that the different factors of educative influences that work with them have. Different methods and techniques were used, which allowed to prove the scientific effectiveness of our work and to state that these persons are prepared to face the challenges life impose them.
