Descentralización fiscal y crecimiento económico en los gobiernos regionales peruanos, 2007 - 2018

Abstract

The objective of this work is to determine if fiscal decentralization has generated economic growth in the regional development of the Peruvian economy, since the decentralization process began; To do this, an econometric panel data model related to the Regional Government has been applied as aggregated data. A positive relationship has been found between both variables with a certain emphasis on the short term, with current and capital expenditures and cash transfers being important.
