A case of septic arthritis of the wrist in an infant
Abstract
Septic wrist arthritis in the pediatric population is very rare. Early diagnosis and therapeutic intervention are important in preventing sequelae of septic arthritis in children. We describe a case of a septic wrist arthritis in infant who was diagnosed by ultrasound-guided puncture, and treated with surgery.
