In the majority of common- bean productive zones, the potential yields are never reached. This is because common bean is cultivated under non favorable climatic conditions. The identification of varieties with good yields, under conditions of drought, is all a challenge. For that purpose, the aim of the present work was to evaluate productive cultivar's indicators of common bean, in conditions of drought, at the "Empresa Socialista Mixta Leguminosas del ALBA" at Urachiche's zone, Yaracuy's state, Venezuela. All used seeds were previously evaluated in conditions of experimental drought, and the more tolerant candidates were detected. An in-bloc at random design with three repetitions was used, and planting was made in three rows of 7 m in length x 0.80 m in width, with a density of 357 seeds per variety, for repetition. The average weight per plot of land, average number of pods per plants, average number of seeds per pod, and the weight of one hundred seeds were determined upon harvest. The statistical analysis was carried out using InfoStat version 2011. Among the Venezuelan evaluated genotypes, Gen 13, Gen 15 and Tacarigua stand out for their yields. Among the Cuban selected cultivars, Bolita 42 and BAT 304 showed the best results.
