A linguagem literária cantemporânea no Brasil: a elaboração da oralidade
Abstract
In modern times (in the last thirty years of the twentieth century), Brazilian literature was influenced chiefly by social changes, including in itself a greater evaluation of colloquial oral language. Some authors, by way of their elaborated writing process, take to their masterpieces some specific signals from verbal speaking, such as reiteration, looking for a greater link with their dialogue feature and their day-to-day natural language. The hypothesis is that it is possible to identify oral language marks in João Antonio´s tales through a stylistic analysis observed in some quotes excerpted from “Paulinho Perna Torta”´s short story, extracted from his book Leão de Chácara.
