Los Mantuanos en la Corte española : una relación cisatlántica (1783-1825)

Abstract

Through the study of the historiography of both sides of the Atlantic and archival research of the colonial period of Venezuela/Spain, we had intended to draw the various “human pictures” and the “criollo” political behavior in relation to the court and the late Empire eighteenth century, to try to understand behaviours, intentions, feelings and views of this group « mantuano» on the twilight imperial.
