Since The Executive Yuan approved the Bilingual 2030 policy at the end of 2018, learning English has been a hot topic in schools. In 2021, The Ministry of Education launched "The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College". Three colleges of National Chengchi University were selected and subsidized as the beacon colleges. Accordingly, the Digital Innovation Section of Dah Hsian Seetoo Library initiated an innovation project to enhance library language learning resources and service. Aiming to meet the non-native-English-speaking undergraduate students’ learning needs, the project developed two strategies, including promoting language learning resources and holding events to raise students’ interest. To achieve the former, the library has purchased new resources and curated physical and virtual collections for library users. The latter was implemented through organizing the Language Learning Month events. The result of the post-event survey shows that majority of the participants in those events were undergraduates, they were interested in joining more similar events and they demanded for more language learning resources. This article is expected to share experiences in developing and promoting language resources and service with other university libraries.
