The present study was aimed to evaluate the efficiency of thyme (Thymus vulgaris) on growth performance, biochemical parameters, biological traits and hematology on common carp. For this purpose, 108 fingerlings of cyprinus carpio weight ranged between 75.18 -75.36 g were randomly distributed into four treatment groups. Fish were fed with different thyme concentrations: 1% (T2), 1.5% (T3) and 2% (T4).The first group (T1) was serve as control group without any addition of thyme. The experiment was conducted at animal sceicne department/ college of agricultural engineering sceinces/university of Sulaimani. The experiement was continued for 8 weeks, after 60 days of feeding, blood samples were collected for determination of hematological and biochemical parameters. Results of feeding trail in treated groups with thyme supplementation showed significant increase (P<0.05) in the weight gain, which was in treatment (3), also, food conversion ratio was improved and there was a significant difference among (t3,t4) compare to (t1, t2).for fish health indicator such liver enzymes there were no significant differeneces among treatments(P<0.05). For hematology parameters significant difference was oberved for (mch) among control treatmt compare with other treatments, for rest of other hematology parametres no significant differences were noted. There were no signifcant differences for hepatosomatic index, meat wieght index and fish wieght indext for other biological traits significant diffreneces were seen among treatments. Highest condition factor value was observed in trreatment (2) and significant difference was seen among treatment 3 and 4.On the basis of our data, the dietary supplementation of T. vulgaris improved the growth rate, hematological, biochemical parameters of C.carpio.
