L’attitudine “astratta” del paesaggio
Abstract
Calvino in his book, “Six memos for the next millennium”, speaks about a world made up of representations of images and forms. Against this biased or common vision, he says that he can only use “a weapon he knows well”: an idea of literature. Thus, he believes in the existence of a two-dimensional space, capable of creating a relationship between opposites, a vast scenario that moves in two directions, which proves that two worlds exist: the material and the anti-material. We can extrapolates this logic, in order to consider an”abstract attitude of landscape”: a two- dimensional space that allows us to pass from one reality to the other, from the material to the anti- material realm, a middle ground between the landscape and the anti-landscape.
