The article is dedicated to modelling the course of professionally oriented scientific writing for future teachers of English. The main characteristics of the teaching model are represented: object, stage, subject, the model realization within the credit based modular learning, time standards for the learning process. The model correlates with the learner autonomy development rules for Master’s degree curriculum. The functioning of professionally oriented scientific writing methodology within the model is also described, which is based on the suggested cycles and the cogent time standards for inclass and project work.
