Data on carbonates in alkaline rocks, pegmatites, and late veinlets of the Vishnevogorskoe deposit are summarized. Among 21 minerals studied, calcite is the major mineral; dolomite, ankerite, siderite, aragonite, bastnasite-(Ce), and strontianite are less abundant; and other minerals, including REE minerals (ancylite-(Ce), burbankite, synchysite-(Ce), and donnayite-(Y)), are rare. Carbonatites, carbonate-containing pegmatite, and finly veins are the main type of pyrochlore ores.
