Digital libraries at home and abroad for the needs of instruction in the school library

Abstract

Abstract The authors describe some cases and indicate some possible uses of digital libraries (some of them can also be examples of their construction) for educational purposes, at home and abroad. They have chosen examples of libraries that are appropriate (or designed) for use by librarians, teachers, primary and secondary school students. The positive, as well as the negative characteristics of the use of digital libraries are presented. Qualitative properties of digital school libraries are also described in the article.
