From appropriation of nature to the construction of fishing territories

Abstract

The present paper discusses territorial issues related to fisheries. It presents a discussion of the concept of territory according to the scope of studies in Geography followed by an exposition of some of the levels at which the territorial question lies in the fishery universe. It reveals the existence of a territorial dimension in fishery and highlights the importance of this category in its understanding and management
