In recent years, with persistent development of endoscopic technology, the detection rate of superficial non-ampullary duodenal epithelial tumors (SNADETs) has been gradually increased. SNADETs which are identified during early stage rarely metastasize distantly. Consequently, early diagnosis and treatment of SNADETs are of significance. In this article, literature review was conducted at home and abroad, endoscopic resection technologies for SNADETs were analyzed and summarized, aiming to improve endoscopic minimally invasive treatment for SNADETs, enhance clinical efficacy and safety, elevate the quality of life and provide ideas and reference for subsequent in-depth research.
