A case of mucocele infiltrate to orbit and frontal lobe

Mucocele is slow-growing and locally aggressive lesion of the paranasal sinuses. Mucoceles of the paranasal sinuses most commonly occur in the frontal, and ethmoidal sinuses. A gradually enlarging lesion results in destruction of the wall of the sinus and extends to the encircling anatomic structures. Symptoms have a connection with this expansive lesion are generally secondary to its pressure effect on neighbouring structures. In this paper, reported that the case of mucocele infiltrate to orbita and frontal lobe. Both the differential diagnosis and the surgical treatment options are presented, and the literature is reviewed.
