This work presents a proposal that seeks to integrate technical and engineering activities with logistical and organizational management activities to work with agave industry residues and generate products that have a social benefit impact on communities such as the COMCAAC nation, which has energy poverty because it does not have access to economic fuels due to its geographic location, which makes the sale of gas or other fuels high cost. This project presents the study of the technical activities to transform agave residues into biomass or biofuel, with low-cost processes, and proposes an organizational and logistic model so that this community can be self-sufficient in fuels in a way that contributes to mitigating energy poverty, as well as food security, offering an alternative solution to cook their food and other needs. The characterization of different agave varieties is presented, contemplating their growth properties in land such as the coast of Sonora and other properties that help to decide on the best variety for the use of the proposed applications. The proposal uses a circular economy concept, with sustainable processes of elaborating the products so that the costs are viable.
