PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR INCREASING OF THE STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION TO FOREIGN LANGUAGES STUDY
Abstract
The definition of motivation is considered and the importance of motivation for a more successful mastering of a foreign language is indicated. The authors have described and analyzed the types of motivation observed in mastering a foreign language. The authors examine some possible psychological and pedagogical conditions and ways in development of motivation in learning a foreign language. These conditions are divided into three groups: information, technology and personal conditions. Information conditions relate to the content of learning. Technological conditions are procedural and methodological basis of pedagogical process. Personal conditions are determined by the personal qualities of educational process members and interpersonal interaction of the teacher and students. The conclusion is that only the use of all of three groups will enhance students' motivation in learning a foreign language.
