Development of mechanisms for the sustainable development of the regions in relation to depressive subject of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The article focuses on the ides of sustainability, with a view on the methods, types, and indicators of a region’s economic sustainability. There is an analysis of the socio-economic issues demonstrated on a depressive area - Karachai-Circassian Republic; there are also some suggestions concerning resolving the issue and making progress in terms of development.
