On the basis of focus group research were analyzed representations of young people about the situation, about the country and about the authority and its impact on youth representation on the possible form their own political-legal activity. It is shown that the authorities generally perceived as a collective entity, which usually is in opposition to other collective entity – the people. It is established that young people's interest in politics is, at best, fragmentary, their political education is low. It is found out that expectations from the authorities are associated with quite distinct paternalistic inferences: the resolution of a military conflict in the East, the improvement of life quality, incomes, employment guarantees, the creation of opportunities for youth self-realization, etc. At the same time, the problem of corruption is highlighted, since in the estimations of young people the authorities only demonstrates, but does not take real action to overcome corruption. It has been established that the lack of experience in solving problem issues in the political and legal field, the idea that most problems can be “resolved” in an illegal way (bribe, “gratitude”, etc.) forms in young people the idea that “the norms of the law can be ignored because even those who creates the laws ignores them”. It was stated that young people are ready to implement revolutionary scenario for resolving social contradictions
