Purpose: It was planned to document the results of our clinic electroneuromyography (ENMG) examination at the most frequently observed entrapment neuropathy . Material and Method: In the last 24 months, who applied to ENMG laboratory of Harran University Faculty of Medicine, 1196 patients with an initial diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) were included in the study retrospectively. Results: The result of the electrophysiological examination 520 (43.5%) cases were reported as normal. 676 (56.5%) patients (296 light and 285 medium and 95 severe) were determined of CTS by electrophysiological examination. Discussion: Normally result in a rate of 43.5% of initial diagnosis of the CTS by EMG, demonstrates the importance of sufficient time and more careful clinical assessment. However, EMG maintains its position the diagnosis of CTS and similar clinical situations, treatment and assessment of prognosis. [Cukurova Med J 2013; 38(2.000): 209-213]
