METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES FOR PATIENT SATISFACTION SURVEY IN MEDICAL ORGANIZATION
Abstract
High level of patients and family satisfaction is a key component for high quality of medical care. The optimal choice of patients’ satisfaction assessment methods for monitoring, comparison with data from other medical organizations and dynamic assessment after implementation of different improvement plans is an actual problem of modern healthcare. The aim of the study was analysis of methodological approaches for patients’ satisfaction assessment methods. The analysis of official regulations in Russia, international standards requirements, USA medical organizations experience for patients satisfaction assessment methods was performed, the advantages and disadvantages of each methods were analyzed, the recommendations for health care managers for optimal patients satisfaction assessment methods choice are proposed in terms of goals and objectives of medical organization.
