Searching for VRCinema. From proto-immersive to immersive cinema

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show that, it is with the introduction of VRCinema when a more precise immersive phase starts. For though, mainly a qualitative methodology has been applied, based on a content analysis of the main authors dealing with the history of the elements related to the immersive triangle cinema screens, formats and audiences, which have approached to a VRCinema definition.
