The article scrutinizes the content materials with a patriotic focus posted on the official websites of parliamentary parties of the Russian Federation. The objective of the work is to verify their discursive activity in shaping and promoting a patriotic agenda, taking into account a complex set of internal and external conditions. Employing discourse analysis, informal document study, and comparative analysis, the article reveals the peculiarities of interpreting the structure, essence, and varieties of patriotism in the context of Russian realities. The authors identify common semantic connections in the usage of related concepts and emphasize the affirmation of the “statecentric version” of patriotic discourse, appealing to existential challenges for the country. Quite traditional interpretations of patriotism, such as love, devotion to the Motherland, respect for its history organically coexist with articulating activities for the benefit of Russia. Reflections on “real”, “true” patriotism are typical. The research also focuses on examining the operational component of patriotic discursive practices. Information on official websites indicates a significant number of patriotic actions, events, projects involving political parties. They often act as initiators, but frequently react positively to the initiatives of the authorities, concentrating on highlighting their own contribution. In general, parliamentary parties, in the patriotic dimension, aim at creating a space of solidarity, although it has limited boundaries due to ideological divergences and subjective needs. The specificity of their representation of patriotic themes underscores the awareness of its importance on a na-tionwide scale and simultaneously demonstrates the use of patriotic rhetoric to enhance the effectiveness of political struggle.
