Abstract: This article explores the application of deconstructivism to Algerian popular literary texts, with a particular focus on poetic works. Based on the principles of Jacques Derrida, the study examines how this approach reveals implicit and multiple meanings through a deconstructivist approach. The methodology includes a textual analysis of Sidi LakhdarBenkhlouf's works and an assessment of internal contradictions and cultural tensions. The results show that deconstruction enriches the understanding of the texts by exposing new interpretations and emphasizing the crucial role of the reader. However, the article also acknowledges the limits of deconstruction, especially with regard to subjectivity and generalization of conclusions. Keywords : deconstruction, Jacques Derrida, postmodernism, populartexts, readerinterpretation
