This article is a reflection on the educational process regarding practise of care: action’s thought, reflexive professional performance, human perspective in general and professional perspective in particular about how to plan and organize education. Becoming a carer in our current society involves answering to special and different needs of people and their environment. Apprenticeship throughout life is considered as an attitude of search and constant explanation of the whys, of what we do and why we do it, and also as a belief in a professional autonomy and decision making with authority and equality, within multidisciplinary teams. At this point, questions arise about nursing professionals in society and the relation between theory and method: Should initial training be based on a general approach or on a more specific one? What kind theory and practice foundations does a professional need to be able to build a new knowledge, new abilities but also new ways of understanding his care function?; Is practise the best framework for experience-based learning? Does experience-based learning make professional development and innovation possible? Ongoing education promotes innovation and becomes the first factor for organizational development.
