Bogotá, ciudad y calidad de la vida, análisis por componentes 1994-2004: resultados finales de investigación.
Abstract
This text presents the findings of the research project “Bogotá, the city and quality of life analysis by components 1994-2004”, developed in La Salle University. We aim for the construction of an “indicator of quality of life” resulting from the components competitiveness, corporate social responsibility, quality of higher education, employment, population and life expectancy. Left out many other social and political expressions, but the objective to show a different way of calculation can be satisfied with these six components. For that we accepted and incorporated holistic and hologramatic approaches of social construction of territory. With this it is built versions of overlapping fractal and resolves some other theoretical subjects. The results show how each separately component does not explain the growth of Bogotá, but they indicate the time that the cycles of accumulation varied for each of them. In the case of the quality of life, which includes all components, it is possible to observe, through the dispersion of data as, although there is a trend to improvement in the function-indicator, there is not a determination by some of them, this contest others results that attached to growth, employment and productivity, among others, the result of what is today Bogotá. So with that, it is understandable that none of the various components shown fulfills the role of social leadership, or principal, and that it is the own additive inertia of spontaneous growth that guides development
