The aim of this paper is to raised some questions about the relationships between contract Archaeology and heritage education that have been made in Brazil. These relationshipes will be compared with the methodologies and theories of community Archaeology. The comparision seeks to construct an alternative to the problems that the heritage education finds in the politics of representation of cultural property in Brazil
