Cost overruns analysis in high rise building and apartment projects

Abstract

Cost overruns is the lasting problem in construction industry, appears in all over the world. This research was conducted to assess the influence of each factor to the cost overruns in construction projects. The percentage of cost overruns caused by each factor was identified over the statistical analysis technics. These factors were arranged into several groups and ranked to identify the most critical factors that help the stakeholders to have the basic for making cost-related decision
