In this article the picture of six prophets in five Iranian feature films has been depicted. The feature films selected are those which have involved one sacred or divine character specifically, in a way that enables our analysis of their cinematic rendition of their appearance and behavior. The content analysis of these films has basically concentrated on their concern with purity and similitude when depicting the character of the prophets. The films include: "Jacob the Prophet", "Abraham Khlilollah", "Jesus, the Harbinger of Ahmad", "The Kingdom of Solomon", and" Joseph the Prophet". The analysis shows that the characters are depicted in a way to safeguard their respectful and divine status. Besides, the films which have remained faithful to authentic religious resources have managed to offer an almost truthful presentation of the prophets.
