Objective: To discuss how entrepreneurial education can help students develop emotional resilience through the educational practice of artistic entrepreneurship. Methodology/approach: Qualitative, inductive and interpretive methodological approach using different sources of information (observation, interviews and documents). Main results: Conceptual elaboration of four emotionally challenging educational contexts and five educational practices for the development of emotional resilience. Theoretical/methodological contributions: We propose new reflections on the contexts and practices in the context of entrepreneurial education, as well as specific reflections on the field of entrepreneurial education in the arts, thus stimulating a more current, sophisticated and comprehensive entrepreneurial education, in which the ability to be emotionally resilient is a priority. Relevance/originality: Despite the importance of emotional resilience for entrepreneurship, until then, the topic was underestimated by research on entrepreneurial education. Social contributions: By stimulating the conceptual refinement of entrepreneurial education based on the concept of emotional resilience, we contribute to the advancement of research on entrepreneurship, to the practice of artistic entrepreneurship and to the development of the creative economy.
