- Sustainable use of biomass waste to overcome energy and environmental challenges is an attractive solution. Corncob is one of the attractive biomass wastes as raw material for biocoke fuel production. This study investigates the potential of corncob biomass waste for biocoke production through comprehensive proximate, ultimate, and lignocellulosic analysis. The results show that the water content in biocoke is lower than raw corncob. The results of the moisture content analysis decreased to 7.72 % from 12.44 %, and the volatile meter and fixed carbon increased compared raw corncob. The carbon value corncob biocoke reached 45.56 % higher than several biomasses in previous research.
