Space represents an indispensable element in the progression of the narrative, and it is linked to the being and the becoming of the characters. It is also the reflection of their deep structure because the spaces, the places described and the intimate life of the characters are strongly correlated. From a historical, socio-cultural and historical point of view, the place where a character lives and the period to which he/she belongs generates a particular existential path. The representation of space in the works of Lemsine serves both to create a referential illusion and to program the common destiny of her characters. Our reflection reveals the symbolism of heterotopic spaces in La Chrysalide and Ciel de Porphyre.
