The main objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between identity and educational public policy, specifically with interculturality, as one of the frames of reference within which education is carried out. In this way, the identity, its processes and its configurations, represent a challenge of understanding. When the identity seeks to be understood within educational contexts, framed by the proposal of interculturality, a timely analysis of the elements that make it up, but also, of the products that emerge from here is necessary. It is important to consider the different moments that the strategies and proposals of indigenous education have crossed.
