Le trasformazioni dei tribunali di età augustea fra salubrità e politica
Abstract
This paper focuses on the spaces of justice in the Roman world by considering their evolution during the Augustus’ Principate. The aim is to enhance a specific indicator attested in ancient literary sources to show up courts’ transformations, i.e. salubritas. The role of this requirement in those places in which trials were held will not be investigated from an environmental perspective, but within a reflection about urban comfort and sustainable infrastructures during the transition between Republic and Empire.
