Variations sur un quartier du centre de São Paulo

Abstract

Based on the proposal of this dossier and with reference to authors like De Certeau (whose reflections echo Foucault’s ideas about space and power), the aim of the article is to present the main results of an ethnographic research (based on shared practices of observation) on the district of Luz, in the inner city of São Paulo.
