Adaptação de faixas concêntricas para casos de áreas envoltórias em ambientes construídos: o caso dos “galpões da Mooca”

Abstract

This article offers the reader the application, in the case of “Galpões da Moóca”, of the concept of concentric areas to the problem of the surrounding area urban voids with landscape value. It is justified by the demand of public action to establish enclosed areas that work as strategic instruments of protection and monitoring of spatial dynamics that act in the surroundings of assets of cultural value. It brings the theoretical formulation, the technical procedures and spatial analysis for the theme of the surrounding areas in densely metropolitan built environment. As a result, it offers the cartographic model of application of concentric areas based on principles of urban mobility in association with the already classical urbanistic criteria.
