The Musicotherapy and the Occupational Therapy are two quite recent professions with very much in common. It has been a short time since both of them have the status of serious professions, but people from everytime and everywhere use in a complete innate way throughout their lifes the benefits of music and the activities of everyday life too.The first step is finding in what a discipline lies, the methodology it applies and what it brings to us for its comprehension; this article tries to light on this point. Many times it is difficult to explain with words something having such a strong connotation of "feeling" as the Musicotherapy, but I think it is worth trying. In our education, we should have a subject called: How to explain just in a pair of words what the Musicotherapy and the Occupational Therapy are?The point is that we have the honour and the luck, because this is exactly what has fallen to us.In these lines we try to: see common points for both professions; see what they bring to each other; show to the interested people what is the Musicotherapy and overall, coordinate our efforts in order to give the best to the people we work with.
