Gambaran Kerusakan Mukosa Usus Mencit (Mus musculus) pada Infeksi Escherichia coli
Abstract
This study was aimed to determine whether the degree of E. coli infection can lead todigestive problems and severity according to the degree of infection. Tests were carriedout in vivo in murine, experimental animals to see the severity of the intestinal mucosa bythe degree of infection. The study was conducted with only post test design with the negative control groupdesign. At the first day of the treatment, group of mice were infected with a suspension of E.coli in volume of 0.1 ml, 0.2 ml, 0.3 ml, 0.4 ml, 0.5 m, 0.6 ml and 0.8 ml, while the control wasgiven sterile distilled water per oral. At days 14 after treatment intestinal surgery andpathological examination were done. Intestinal was opened and cleaned then capturedusing Dinolite Microscope® which connected to the laptop. Data were collected andanalyzed using statistic program and tested using ANOVA to determine differences in thedegree of infection and severity of the intestinal mucosa, in between infected anduninfected of mice.Condition of infected intestinal pathology showed severity depends on the concentrationof a given infection. In the ANOVA analysis showed that there was a significant differencein the volume of a given infection. The more infections level, the poorer condition of theintestinal mucosa of mice. (P = 0,001)
