Compromis lors d’une recherche-action à La Poste

Abstract

As part of her doctoral research, the author led an action research initiative aimed at studying psychosocial issues at Toulouse Financial Centre (Groupe La Poste) while working there as a social assistant. She shows how the initiative will need to adjust over time to respond to needs dictated by the situation on the ground and to reconcile interests that are sometimes opposed. These adjustments raise the question of tensions between the researcher-practitioner’s processes for engagement and distancing.
