This article describes how supervisors, teachers and apprentices use digital technologies for the evaluation of a new vocational education and training program in Québec. Specifically, it highlights four uses of digital technologies: (1) capturing work-related artefacts, (2) augmenting artefacts, (3) sharing artefacts and (4) integrating digital artefacts in work activities. We found that digital technologies are used for formative and summative evaluation of knowledge, specific skills and soft skills developed in the workplace. The article discusses how those uses can further support evaluation activities.
