A contribution to the Raphidioptera fauna of the North-Western Caucasus

Abstract

New faunistical data on two species of Raphidioptera from the North-Western Caucasus are reported. Phaeostigma notatum (Fabricius, 1781) is new for Krasnodar Province. The forewing venation of P. notatum is similar to that of the closely related species Phaeostigma promethei H. Aspöck, U. Aspöck, Rausch, 1983 known from the South Caucasus (Transcaucasia), but the male genitalia of the examined specimen of P. notatum differ from that of P. promethei
