How to Develop Parent-child Family Rehabilitation for Deaf Babies
Abstract
Objective:To help the deaf baby's parents to master the skills of family rehabilitation, and improve the parents' enthusiasm for participating in the rehabilitation program deeply, and therefore enhance the recovery of the babies with hearing impairment.Methods:Focus on repeatability, continuity and interest, the development of sense perception was given a priority. In the whole activity, the four steps of oral hearing method should be followed, including told, demonstration, operation and feedback, and every field goal should be integrated in a game.Results:After the parent-child family rehabilitation, the hand-eye coordination and operation ability of babies got faster progress. The sensitivity, confidence and alarm points of the parents to children were increased. The hearing sensitivity of babies got much better since their response to the sound of low-mid frequency instrument and human voice was increasingly sensitive.Conclusion:Effective training of parent-child family rehabilitation for deaf babies, which could provide efficient technical support for the parents, and shorten the recovery time of babies.
