Universal decimal classification in Ukraine: history and contemporaneity

Abstract

In the article it is investigated stage-by-stage the history of development and application of Universal decimal classification (UDC) in Ukraine from the first edition by Ukrainian at the time of Ukrainian People’s Republic to the present, it is analyzed organizational, licensed, scientific and normatively-methodical stuff of UDC in Ukraine.
