Annotation The space, which includes memorial House-Museum Vereshchagin - part of the historical core of Cherepovets. In the immediate vicinity-the place of origin of the city, Cathedral hill with the resurrection Cathedral, part of the founding of the city of the monastery. The territory opens to the embankment of the Yagorba river in 500 meters from the " arrow” - its confluence with the once largest tributary of the Volga-the river Sheksna, the gate of the Mariinsky system, later-the Volga-Baltic waterway. On the North-West side of the territory is adjacent to Voskresensky (Soviet) Avenue-the axial highway of ancient Cherepovets with preserved and restored historical buildings of the 19th century. Located 60 meters South of the building of the state University form a small student quarter, which is daily at least 3,000 students and teachers. University street, facing the waterfront, huge Parking for tourist and private transport enhance the transport convenience of the location. The fenced territory of the estate of the vereshchagins Museum includes two main historical buildings and outbuildings, a unique garden and Park complex – a favorite place for tourists and visitors. But the space adjacent to it is still used passively.
